Fast-forward here, for another #shorty. Setting: Argus (Vol. 4 or 5—haven’t yet decided) Plot: Rufus remembers his jaded past with Vortex, and what his father had him doing—assigning him on small missions he didn’t want to do before he ever attended Beacon. This is also after more knowledge about IVRY’s and Asuka’s attackers from said organization comes to them. However, Rufus is the first to act... alone. He doesn’t want the others knowing what he’s doing, going to the source of the Vortex trouble, if possible. In the process, he meets and befriends Rio, and he witnesses her semblance, which you’ll see used in action here. They are sneaking into one of Vortex’s holdings in the city, or at least Rufus needed to.
